Theme

During term one Caitlyn did some learning through symbolic play. Below she is photographed working as a hairdresser at our salon. Here she has engaged in conversation with the client while creating a new hairstyle. This experience enables students the opportunity to learn and use vocabulary for everyday situations.

Caitlyn is working at the Vet Clinic, attending to a sick elephant.
Caitlyn enjoyed Pet Day when she had the opportunity to see the variety of animals that visited at TPH. Caitlyn also shared information about her dog, Darcy.

Term 2 Royalty:
Students have participated in activities to learn about British Royal customs and history. Caitlyn has had the opportunity to create and eat some of the Queen's favourite dishes. She dressed up as a princess, on our Royal Wedding Day, and celebrated with our shared lunch.
